Denver’s annual Can’t Stop the Serenity event tickets go on sale

Denver’s Can’t Stop the Serenity event returns to the Alamo Drafthouse in Littleton Sep 29, 2018. Denver happens to be one of very few cities that have hosted this event every single year since its inception back in 2006. Fans look forward to being a part of an annual event that has already raised a total of $23,215.87 for Equality Now and other charities. Browncoats revel in the chance to watch of Joss Whedon’s film “Serenity” on the big screen along with a shindig, costume contest, raffle, and door prizes. Fans know that it is already time to work on those layer cake Kaylee dresses, and dig out those cunning Jayne hats.

“Can’t Stop the Serenity (CSTS) is a unique opportunity to indulge your geeky side while doing some good! Since 2006, fans have organized screenings of Joss Whedon’s Serenity to raise funds and awareness to support Equality Now in their work for the protection and promotion of the human rights of women around the world. Join us as we aim to misbehave for a good cause!” Joss Whedon.

The doors will open at 5PM for registration, followed by a shindig in the Alamo Drafthouse Lounge. “Serenity” will start at 7PM and the always fun raffle will follow. Check the Event Activities / Schedule page for more information on activities and updates as we get closer.
