Rockymountain Con to bring comic and gaming fun to Denver

Rockymountain Con and Tacticon have combined to offer a weekend full of pop culture and gaming joy. Heads up anime, cosplay, and gaming enthusiasts, this event will bring together two fandoms that belong together in a weekend of geekery. The celebration will take place Sep. 29- Oct. 1, 2017 at the Crowne Plaza Denver Airport Convention Center just off I-70 and tickets are already on sale.

RockyMountain Con’s Tim Moret of RockyMountain Con and Matt Knowles of Tacticon came together knowing that teaming up would bring out the best for both fandoms. Although they are essentially two separate shows, both take place at the same time and in the same space to create a well-rounded event that everyone can enjoy. There will be role table top, computer, console, card, board, and live action roleplaying games as well as cosplay, anime, comics, an artist alley, shiny panels, and of course a cool dealer’s room. Joining all of the fun are some amazing guests. Geof Isherwood (Dr. Strange), Rodney Ramos (DC and Marvel), Ron Fortier (writer/comic creator), Barry McClain, Jr. (artist at Valiant), and Franchesco (cover and pin-up artist). More updates are in the works so stay tuned.

RMC was started by fans in the Denver and Aurora areas to raise funds to help the victims of the Aurora Theater shooting, and today they are working hard with other local groups in donating a portion of the proceeds to get money to people in need. This combined convention will offer several different passes to help ease fans with the transition of this joint effort.
