Colorado Springs Comic Con has a lot to get excited about. This summer, the pop culture convention returns for its sophomore year with huge guests like “Firefly” favorite Sean Maher, and the lovely Karen Gillan (Doctor Who, Guardians of the Galaxy). Just south of Denver about an hour, fans will be geeking out with over 90,000 square feet in the Colorado Springs Event Center Aug. 25-27, 2017. The event enjoyed a very successful inaugural year with a nice sized dealer’s room, artist area, and boasted some very popular guest. Got those tickets yet? This year the list of celebs is impressive.
Heads up “The Walking Dead” fans because Colorado Springs Comic Con is hosting some great guests such as Michael Rooker, Josh McDermitt, Scott Wilson, Jon Bernthal, Ross Marquand, Tom Payne, Kyla Kenedy, Jeremy Palko, and Elizabeth Ludlow. Big names like Billy Dee Williams of (Star Wars), James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), DJ Qualls (Supernatural), Chris Sarandon (Nightmare Before Christmas), Kevin Sussman (Big Bang theory), Joey Lauren Adams (Mallrats), and famed writer Timothy Zahn have all joined the party. The “Power Rangers” will be in town. Rangers such as Blake Foster, Catherine Sutherland, Hilary Shepard, Johnny Young Bosch, and Steve Cardenas will be on hand to meet their fans. Then there are the fabulous 80s flashbacks with Sam Jones, Marty Kove, Steven Guttenberg, Judge Reinhold, Lou Diamond Phillips, Pauly Shore, Zach Galligan, and Robert Romanus.
