“Unbeatable Squirrel Girl” fans will be excited to hear that Erica Henderson is coming to Denver Comic Con 2017. She’s best known for her work on Archie Comics’ “Jughead” and Marvel’s “Unbeatable Squirrel Girl.” Her artwork on the rebooted Jughead comic has been part Archie’s new adventures of the gang from Riverdale, and with CW’s new “Riverdale” series coming out; people are in the Archie Comics mood. Definitely entertaining, and her Twitter says “I would like to thank that squirrel that bit me in my teens for all that has happened to me. I’m glad you didn’t have rabies.”

Colorado comic enthusiasts welcome Erica to this year’s Denver Comic Con that will take place June 30-July 2, 2017 at the Colorado Convention Center. Other celebs headed Denver’s way are Kate Mulgrew (Star Trek Voyager), James Marsters and Clare Kramer (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Robin Lord Taylor (Gotham), Michael Rosenbaum (Smallville), Bonnie Wright (Harry Potter), Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite), Christopher Sabat (Dragonball Z) the very popular Neal Adams, and more. It is time to start putting together that epic cosplay, booking those hotel rooms, and setting aside money for that all important dealers’ room cash reserve.

Denver Comic Con is a family friendly pop culture fan convention that draws crows from all over the Rocky Mountain region. There is so much to do during those three days of geek heaven. The gigantic dealer’s room known as Merchant Mesa will be packed with those must have t-shirts, gadgets, and collectables. Fans will get the chance to meet those celebs up close in the Celebrity Summit and Author Alley. There will also be star-studded panels and other fun panels, workshops, and for the kiddoes there will be Pop Culture Classroom Kid’s Lab and 8-Bit Lounge.

Want a free ticket? Well, this epic event wouldn’t happen each year if it weren’t for all the shiny volunteers. Each volunteer gets a volunteer t-shirt and admission to the con on the day they work. Check out the volunteer information page to see how you can help.
