It’s that time again! The annual Trick or Treat Train will be up and running at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden Saturday and Sunday, October 29th and 30th. This event has become a Halloween tradition in Golden, and as always this year promises fun for the whole family. Each day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. visitors get the chance to climb aboard haunted rail cars, and ride behind a roaring steam engine.

How cool is it that there will be old train cars all decorated in scary, yet not-too-ghoulish decorations! Everyone will have a lot to explore with haunted rail cars, the Olde Railroaders’ Graveyard, and a Pumpkin Patch Cart. Be sure to keep those cameras and cell phones ready for plenty of photo opportunities. Plus, did someone say treats? Absolutely, there will be chances to load up those trick or treat bags with candy handed out all around the museum grounds.

Admission prices are pretty awesome at just $15 for adults, $5 for children, kids under two are free, and $10 for seniors. It certainly pays to be a museum member as they get in free to this event. For more information check out their website or call them at or call 303-279-5491.
